Hammer-bashing murderer denied charm

A drug person convicted of bashing a Melbourne guy with a wholesale NFL jerseys hammer just before stabbing him ten occasions and later on burning his body has been refused leave to charm his sentence. Troy Joshua Townley, who was twenty five at the time of the killing, is serving a 24-year jail term for the June 2008 murder of 24-yr-old Chabel  Charlie  Boulos at a house in St Albans.

Townley, who outlined no official grounds for his appeal, appeared via videolink from jail and showed no emotion as his bid was refused.
